Trusting God In The Unknown

Trusting God In The Unknown

I don’t know about you, but one of the hardest things for me is walking into the unknown. I like to have a plan. I like to know what’s next. But life doesn’t always give us those details, and I’ve learned that God often asks us to trust Him when we can’t see the full picture.

Maybe you’re in a season right now where the future feels uncertain. The “what ifs” can get loud. What if this doesn’t work out? What if I fail? What if I don’t have enough? I’ve been there too. But what I’ve found is that in every one of those questions, God gently reminds me: “I am with you.”

Trusting Him in the unknown hasn’t always been easy for me, but it’s where I’ve seen my faith grow the most. When I couldn’t lean on my own understanding, I discovered just how faithful and dependable He is. The truth is, the unknown isn’t unknown to God. He sees what we can’t. And He’s always leading us toward good, even when the path feels uncertain.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight." — Proverbs 3:5–6

So today, I’m praying this not just for myself but for you too: Lord, when the unknown feels overwhelming, help us lean on You instead of our fears. Light each step, calm our hearts, and remind us that Your plans are always good. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Keep trusting Him, you’re not walking into the unknown alone.
